Queer Action Learning Set - Professional and Personal Development

An action learning set is a closed group of no more than 8 people who commit to meeting together across one year for personal and professional development. The date and time of the kick off session will be agreed with the group, but is planned for around 24 February.

Learning sets are an opportunity to connect with like-minded professionals to share issues, concerns and experiences and then get the support you need relative to what you shared. By doing so, individuals get the kind of support they want to help them think and work through whatever is coming up for them professionally. In addition, the group learns together by gaining insights from each other and through dialogue as a group as different topics are brought to the group. The specific purpose of the PSA sponsored Action Learning Set is to provide direct support to queer people through collective learning, personal development and community building in a safe environment. Once established, the group will meet for 2 hours every 2 months. The  group will be facilitated by Jae Sloan who has many years of experience setting up and facilitating action learning sets. The group is free to attend for those invited to be part of it. If this is of interest, take a look at this outline to read more and contact Jae directly at jae@apiscg.com with questions and to register your interest in being part of the group.
