We want to help create environments that are safe for all LGBTQ+ people, our allies and other intersectional communities of difference to transition from being - or wanting to be – invisible, to knowing they are able to be visible if and when they choose without negative consequences

We want to help raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues and what LGBTQ+ people face to support empathy that will lead to understanding, acceptance and support for LGBTQ+ individuals

We want members of the LGBTQ+ community to fulfill their potential and enhance the working experiences of others

Support cross organisation discussion…
We will influence and support cross organisation strategic discussion of LGBTQ+ issues, talking and working across our Global LGBTQ+ Councils or equivalent to influence how our companies support and embrace a focus on LGBTQ+ inclusion and diversity
Serve as a collective resource…
We will serve as a collective resource to our organisations, helping them to think about and make suggestions for how we can be more reflective of the patients, consumer and communities we serve
Create a network…
We will create a supportive network for LGBTQ+ employees in which to meet and discuss issues impacting LGBTQ+ employees in their day-to-day work environment and take appropriate action to solve or resolve these issues
Work together & with external experts…
Work together and with external experts to enable the creation and sharing of best practices and resources between our LGBTQ+ employee network groups
Provide a forum…
We will provide a forum for developing an appropriate, collective response to LGBTQ+ issues that benefit Healthcare and Life Science Sector organisations; this will reflect Alliance members’ commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion internally and externally
