We all need support, and we can often find this through creating connections and community. In fact, creating community for this purpose has historically always been a hallmark of the queer community as a whole. The PSA wants to offer space for those across our Alliance network to come together for this reason in 2025. We will schedule six, 1-hour virtual sessions across 2025 on the fourth Thursday every other month starting in February, and those interested can attend one, a few or all of them.

Each virtual session will feature a short check-in to introduce the session. Then those attending will be able to connect in two to three rounds of small group discussions during which they will meet and informally talk about topics that matter to the group – there are no strict rules! We will have space to check out of the meeting, usually sharing one or two things you are taking away. The aim is to provide space that emphasises we are not alone and to help those who attend make connections and build community with others across our sector. We will limit each Connect Group to 15 people, so please commit to being there if you register!
